Meet Onesimus
Onesimus is one of the finest Afro-beats, R&B/Pop vocalist of this generation in the Southern African Region.
He has put out refreshing music that has impressed not only his peers but the older masses inclusive.
A Christian-Inspirational Afro-beats, R&B/Pop singer who has pushed his way to become one to be remembered.
This is in the making for history in the making for Malawian arts and probably the southern part of Africa.
Onesimus is not only a singer, he is also a very gifted songwriter, actor and influencer.
Born in 1990, Onesimus started singing at the age of 13. His love for singing grew as he performed at different concerts around his community.
Apart from singing, Onesimus also has passion for dancing as he first gained fame through dance.
At the age of 17 the singer’s then dance group God’s soldiers won the Sprite dance competition of 2006.
Onesimus and Songwriting
He discovered his gift with words in 2008 when he joined the rap group Blessed Beyond Measure (also BBM Clique).
With BBM, songs such as “By MySide” and “Random Thoughts” with the outfit were released.
The singer soon enough left to start a solo career, working on an unreleased hip-hop mixtape called “Beyond Limits” for a year in 2009.
Today?
The singer is an Internationally acclaimed artist and has won various awards.
