Meet Kim of Diamonds
KIM of Diamonds, real name Kimberley , is a dynamic Malawian female creative artist.
She developed her love for singing and songwriting around the tender age of 10.
Her music is a blend of genres (soul, R&B, pop, rap, Afro beats, hip hop & acoustic) that showcases her versatility.
KIM is not only a seasoned singer and songwriter.
She also raps and can be likened to a young Lauryn Hill, who used to be in the rap group, Fugees.
She learned how to play a guitar around the age of 16 from her father who is an exceptional guitarist.
Her musical influences and inspiration include musical greats like Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott, Robert “Bob” Nesta Marley, and India Arie.
Other notable influnces include, literary icon Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and her very own father.
Her Debut Album
Kim released her debut album titled “Freedom” in 2015 working with renowned artists & producer, Lawi and her brother, Manyanda.
She is currently working on new music and dropping ablum after album.
Kim continues to share her music journey and songs with the whole world and there is no slowing her down.
